Now it`s time for the big finaly. Man, I just loved the memory scene where they showed Dipper and Mabel`s relationship. It just fits with the message of this show of growing up and start new things. I mean, if you think about it, we as fans also made a journey by starting this series and in the end some of us might don`t want it to be over but we all had to realize that this is the finaly and we had to let this beatiful show go.

My other favorite part of this ep is Dipper showing how fact is ultimately better than fiction for everyone (which I always think back to whenever I see someone complain that "science ruined" dinos).

I want to say I would want to listen to a song that reminds me of my parents for the rest of my life but eventually it would make me cry. Ever since I saw Amphibia I always saw Marcy as a better version of Mabel in the way she did the right thing on her own turning her back on her fantasy. I am so proud of Dipper for doing the right thing when Soos and even Wendy couldn't. They might be twins but in many ways Dipper is the big brother.

Basically, when you die, there’s a “check in station” where it’s decided if you’re going to the nice place, or the way less nice place. In that sequence when David kept getting fatally injured, I thus picture him blinking in and out of existence at the check in station as a very confused “afterlife staff” stare in bemused shock.
